Mailjet

MailJet is an email marketing software as a solution which a free plan in which you can send up to six thousand emails per month. And their paid plans are very reasonable by comparison to several of the others in the industry. I have recently compared pricing and features among about the top dozen or so services and MailJet in terms of pricing comes in first or second for fifty thousand emails sent per month. So that's good news. The user interface is well setup and easy to learn. You can get going very quickly with their pre-made templates which are a big time saver. And I like the selection they are all very professional looking. I found the editor to perform well. It is very simple to edit blocks and update the current to match your message and brand. It's also easy to set up a list and import contacts. I am glad you can import contacts not all services allow this particularly at the top of the list naming Aweber and MailChimp for example. Though I like how MailJet uses an interstitial page to designate an agreement that you will not be a spammer pretty much in a few check points before you do so, which is completely fair enough. It's the deliverability rates of anything other than basically MailChimp and Aweber that I question because it is such a factor when determining your return on investment. You can't not have emails land in prospects inboxes and expect to make any progress in your sales pipeline or with whatever target trigger you have enabled to measure as a conversion. Though this software has good SMTP and API integration so you can use it just for transactional emails which are one to one with a better chance of landing in one's email inbox after a transaction of some sort has taken place.

I like a lot about MailJet especially the pricing though I believe A/X testing should be included across all plans regardless. Why not empower beginners to be the best prospects they can be using your tools? Not having split testing available with neither basic or premium plans in the initial tiers is silly in my opinion. You should want your user experience to be the best it can be to grow revenue. Having this feature enabled for your starter plans is not going to drastically effect your bottom line in any way. It would make your pricing and service much more inclusive and approachable across your entire target market. Not doing so makes you seem exclusive and that you're wiling to kiss VIP butt but not help out the little guy. If split testing is not included in your free account I can completely understand that. But to not have it in a paid account even though you label it 'Premium' is somewhat deceptive and makes your offer less valuable than others even though your pricing is very good.

Overall, there is a lot to like about this platform. I am grateful to have access to another great free forever plan and share some word of mouth about this via review and so on. The templates are excellent and the editor is super easy to use. On par with the best out there having the drag and drop technology and the ability to add custom code as well. I have to question the deliverability of MailJet simply because they do offer contact importing even for free accounts. Which means there is a chance that spammers have utilized this platform to do their ugly deeds and would have an effect on the overall deliverability score. Though a lot of that has to do with the quality of your content, it's relevance, a non hyped headline, a contact address, an opt out link, no downloadable attachments or images and so on also. It would be a very good platform to utilize for transactional email exclusively because of the low pricing and may be the best use of the software. Most positive reviews you find are about the transactional capabilities actually. Though I am glad to test the marketing deliverability in the near future perhaps with a real opted in list of our subscribers. Though it's a battle between several great platforms. Other than Aweber and MailChimp which have to have the best deliverability because they do not allow imported contacts unless you go through their support which keeps out many spammers with no actual list that is not purchased or stolen; I would suggest checking out Robly for their AI feature, OpenGen and Intelliset technologies which can help ensure you are landing in the inbox. They don't have a free forever plan but it's very reasonable in terms of pricing. As is MailJet.
