What was the best part about using LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

- Viewing the free LinkedIn content within SFDC (or at least a subset of it) - TeamLink leverages co-workers' networks (assuming they have a Sales Navigator seat and have opted into TeamLink) Use the free service but don't spend money on LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Why would you want to use a view only service that exports information from your CRM instead of feeding into your CRM. Isn't the CRM supposed to be your system of record?

What would you change about your experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

- Overpriced - View only - you cannot synch LinkedIn information with SFDC. This means that the content must be rekeyed by the user. Also, prospecting lists cannot be downloaded to Excel or uploaded to SFDC. - Users must toggle between SFDC, LinkedIn free, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator - Weak Company Data (basically republished website and Facebook profiles) with no linkage or financial information - You have to contact people through the text only InMail service which lacks templates, corporate branding, attachments, or integration with corporate email (e.g. Exchange).

Overall Feedback

Every sales rep should be using the LinkedIn free service. There is no better Who Knows Who tool or executive research tool on the market. That being said, LinkedIn premium is an expensive service with little value add beyond the core offering. There are a half dozen better sales intelligence services on the market including Data.com, Avention/OneSource for SFDC, InsideView for Sales, Zoominfo, RainKing, and DiscoverOrg. Many of these provide direct links from their service to LinkedIn company and executive profiles. You will be much better off using a dedicated Sales Intelligence service alongside free LinkedIn than investing in Sales Navigator. When reading reviews, make sure the user isn't describing the value of LinkedIn free + LinkedIn Sales Navigator. 80% of the value is in the free offering. BTW -- I have no read on LinkedIn's ethics but was required to submit a value.
