Kiss Metrics is an analytics and conversions tracking software with tremendous flexibility and very robust features. You can track just about anything online like page views, product or sign up conversions and customer engagement. You can sync data gathered to contact import fields and use your account the a customer management software which includes detailed tracking beyond most CRM's such as purchase history and web activity. That's very powerful combination of value available from your central dashboard. The user interface is really intuitive and enjoyable to use. There's a lot of information available very simply including a number of detailed reports. The ability to search and filter is excellent and there a lot of cool integrations possible for Kiss Metrics. You can embed a piece of code you receive in your account into Wordpress or other CMS's to initiate tracking and reports easily. If you're looking for detailed individual level tracking and reporting that is immensely configurable and built on a reliable infrastructure Kiss Metrics is a good choice.

I am glad to be able to embed the Kiss Metrics code on to my site easily myself, but I understand full implementation is quite a process and requires an expert developer which is another cost to have to consider. Most of the events can be created from their software but some require additional coding in Javascript which is yet another cost to consider prior to implementation at any level. There is an enormous amount of configuration possibilities when setting up your tracking events. In order to have the most optimized campaign possible it would require taking a learning curve which requires an investment. Kiss Metrics doesn't include quite a few common tracking events by default like individual page views, demographic details and time spent on the site. I wish they linked to the Support page on the website from the trial account. The only option I see is to contact a "specialist" whom I assume might be salesy and that's not a step I'm ready for yet. Not being able to delete past events seems like it would create confusion in the account once it was full of data. Not being able to email more than five metrics is unusual and seems a bit unreasonable though this may be changed by the time you're reading this.

The funnel analysis possible by using this tool is remarkable. That coupled with the ability to assign cookies to capture lead information with great search and filtering functionality making this a viable contact database solution as well overall provides serious value. Pricing ranges from $200 per month for tracking up to five hundred thousand events and $2000 per month for up to twenty million events which seems very reasonable though I have yet to complete my research of similar SAAS in this market. Though the KISS acronym seems to be bit of a misnomer because it's a challenge to become an expert at all of the optimization possible. The free trial is certainly an excellent option for anyone wanting to learn more, I believe you'll notice how well this platform functions and the solid overall value it offers.
