KISSmetrics

I love the raw data manipulation ability that KISS provides. Even if we have no clue what we will use the data for, we pass the properties into KISS for future use. Time and time again we have thought "oh thank God we passed that value in", because at some point KISS releases a new feature that makes data we passed invaluable! The metrics dashboard, power reports, funnel reports, ab test reports, (and the ability to then segment the reports by any property value for further drill down) are beyond valuable! The new path reports, engage, and the other features just put this analytic tool as our MUST for any client engagement. The user interface is rather neat, clean and easy to understand. Whenever we have a question here in the product team on how people are using the product, we fire up KM and immediately get our results which helps us break down the problem.

It would be great to have a simultaneous event tracker, but that doesn't exist at the moment. That would cut down on redundant data/event capture and give us insights into what events are most highly correlated with one another. You can do this with the reports section now, but only with individual events. Also Zero integration with dashboard services like Geckoboard, Leftronic and others. I want to plot different kinds reports on dashboards!

If you're struggling with Google Analytics, definitely try out KISSmetrics. At the beginning, we had some issues setting up our traceable "events" and ensuring that they were properly reflected in our reporting. I'm not sure that was really the software's issue, however new users considering the program (or any event-based analytics) should ensure they have the appropriate technical staff to assist them.
