Image Ware Systems does have a web application. LE Web provides search, view and print functionality allowing access to all information (data and images) that a logged on user’s permissions allow. In addition, the web product allows for the creation, review and printing of electronic mug books and photo lineups consisting of facial images or SMT’s (Scars, Marks and Tattoos). While this application provides quick and easy display of all images and data stored in the system, LE Web maintains control over the images and data, because it does NOT allow for the creation or editing of inmate/arrestee records nor does it have the capability of capturing and saving images of any type – it is purely an investigative tool, protecting the data and images, while making them accessible for normal police investigative work.
