The Quickbase is responsive and handles heavy data extremely well. It allows citizen users or non-developers to develop complicated applications that are suitable to specific needs without extensive coding. The process of building applications does not take a lot of time as is the case with other products. Users are able to implement changes to the platform without knowing extensive coding or working with a developer. Quickbase true potential is evident when dealing with databases and compiling different reports. When compiling and making reports the process is simple and with by only clicking some buttons you get detailed reports. The filters in the system make it extremely easy to sort out data and information. Access is customizable by assigning different users clearance levels like Viewer, contributor or Admin. This makes it easier to form information segments. Other perks in the system include Color Coding which makes it easy to manage content. You can also access Quickbase from anywhere in the world. A good thing for frequent travelers.

The dynamic rules are not will developed as they do not have capability to have multiple rules. This means that the rules override each other frequently or when not set up properly. There is an issue with exporting spreadsheets. The export options are limited with only CSV available. The speed of modifying anything in the platform is slow. There are also performance issues when dealing with a high volume of data.

Some of the buttons in the UX do not appear until they are needed or you are in that stage. This can lead to ignorance of some prime features that are hidden in the program. Quickbase is really for setting up simple workflows and not for complex customized workflows. It is also great for tracking costs and invoices.
