What was the best part about using InsideView for Sales?

This B2B market research tool provides real time social and business data from over thirty thousand sources so it's got that going for it. You can view intelligence on computers and mobile devices, in your CRM or directly from the source online. This includes the ability to gather targeted information about a company quickly inside a centralized dashboard, and also using this information when contacting with clients shows that you're interested in their story and not just closing the deal which helps build trust in the relationship. The CRM integrations are useful including SalesForce, Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SugarCRM, Oracle, Scribe. With integrations with analytics service Equifax and marketing automation software Marketo also currently possible. Exporting this valuable data into your CRM is the best way to utilize this data in a sales pipeline. The ability to watch competitors of a particular account and import this data into my CRM is also very useful. In that sense, InsideView is a market research tool in addition to information and insight gathering market research tool for lead generation purposes. These tools allow you to find the decision maker quicker than by doing multiple searches in browser tabs and copy and pasting this information manually. It's easy to compile and highlight relevant company data in a way that is easily accessible. The email alerts are a useful feature.

What would you change about your experience with InsideView for Sales?

I don't know if InsideView would have faster access to updates regarding relevant contact data than internet search engines for example, or third party companies which had contact databases which InsideView sources information from. Therefore, the contact data and insights gathered in InsideView may be slightly out of date if search engines and website databases haven't been updated with the current information yet themselves. It would be nice to sync several companies into SalesForce for example, without having to first export a list and then import it. It could be made a simpler, more streamlined process. And the number of contacts you're able to export per month is relatively low. Perhaps more advanced filtering options when exporting data would be useful too.

Overall Feedback

InsideView provides a useful centralize resource for B2B leads and competitor research. I like being able to find email addresses, help determine the decision maker quicker, create prospecting lists, export this data into a CRM, and utilize the insights and metrics it provides. It definitely streamlines a largely ignored process in sales pipelines which is filling out the complete lead profile possible before contacting. The information gathered in InsideView makes it easy to connect with decision makers, to mention relevant news and metrics, and generally have better, more informed conversations with prospects. This all helps to establish the trust which is the ultimate factor when closing the deal. Pricing seems reasonable for all packages but I would like to be able to export more data than is currently possible. Overall, it's a valuable tool worth checking out the free trial to learn more.
