Infor CRM

Infor CRM is a customer relationship management software which allows you and your whole team to access to essential contact data and move your prospects through a sales pipeline. The whole point of a good CRM is to help you close more deals by enabling greater efficiency and productivity in your workflow as the core of it's purpose. Allowing you have more time for sales rather than doing mundane, tedious tasks to keep a large amount of data organized this becomes much easier overall. I am testing various CRM software for a new start up as a consultant and have done so for well over thirty in my entire experience now. I like that you can deploy your customer relationship manager in the cloud or on-premise, mobile or a hybrid of all any of them. That's pretty cool. They have great mobile adaptivity and responsiveness for this CRM. And it actually very simple to use. There's a lot of functionality to learn in terms of where everything is but none of it is very difficult to learn at all. The ability to have a comprehensive view of all data across your company and even externally is also very good. It's a huge company so it's reassuring to know the infrastructure is going to be sufficiently reliable and scalable. The analytic reporting is quite robust with options to display quite a variety of metrics. You can customize the entire account actually which is great to be able to suit your brand look and feel as close as you want. There's a large amount of learning resources and a forum and community available via Infor so you can get any extra help you need there too. This is a very robust, relatively easy to use yet configurable and customizable CRM with very solid infrastructure and scalability. Though the use of it feels quite manually in the sense that it's not very visual and there is no drag and drop technology that I could find. It's like a gigantic spreadsheet in a way and that's a remarkably close reference in my opinion. You could possibly get into a nice workflow with it after time invested and practice simply knowing where the next step is without having to think about it. As there is a lot of movement required with so much functionality on separate tabs. As I mentioned above, it's not particularly difficult functionality without advanced workflows built into the core CRM features or anything remotely complex like custom queries so it does find a nice balance between customization and configuration.

I personally find most large software company websites unnecessarily confusing because they can have so many products, services, channels, upgrades, downgrades, departments, deployments, and that's off the top of my head in five seconds all linked everywhere. I just don't find the Infor website, nor the Oracle, IBM, SAP and other huge software business websites to be inviting but I'm a small business person and that's just my opinion. I like the PDF reports large software companies tend to utilize for a lot of their documentation. I also like when companies publish their review in a Forrester report which is a respected, trustworthy review source. To be large enough and do quite well in that regard says something about why this CRM is popular among thousands of big businesses. There is one PDF called 'Infor CRM v8.2 Quick Reference Card for the Web User' which would especially helpful to get you started. Yet, as a highly creative person and small business owner I simply find to be overly busy with a lot of clicks and manually entry required while not as visual as I've experienced during my research into similar software in their market.

If you're researching this software as a potential suitor for your business I don't believe you will see a greater range of reviews. There are nearly an equal number of people with one through five star ratings so download the trial it's free with no credit card to see for yourself. I am going to pass but that doesn't mean it could be very well suited to your way of learning and being productive. Certainly consider this across a whole team as well.
