iCIMS Talent Platform

iCIMS really stands out for it’s reporting generator and capabilities – it’s intuitive, overall very easy to use and I’d say also rather flexible when it comes to setting desired experience aspects for candidates. Customer service is also working like magic as they are on-top, giving you a timely and professional answer.

Though iCIMS has it’s strengths, at this point I’d say there are rather many weaknesses that stand out the most and eventually, could start bothering you. Firstly, it’s limited to 1MB – nowadays, that’s clearly not enough! It is rather easy to use, but as it has truly manu features it can be rather tought to wrap one’s head around it. What bothered me the most was that even though it’s main purpose is to manage the info seamlessly, it doesn’t have the ability to hold candidates in a folder for future needs. It happens rather often when I find an applicant who might not fit for a current job post but that at the same time I might see a potential which I would like to implement in the future. Also, it takes ridiculously long time to go through the resumes... So in the end, I wouldn’t say it makes the recruitment process much easier as you still need to invest a lot of time in it.

iCIMS is rather nice tool to have and it’s very intuitive when it comes to managing the data overall, but for our needs it wasn’t the right program. The fact I can’t store applicants for future and the massive effort needed to put into going through all the resumes are the aspects that keep me from enjoying it to the fullest. However, if these things don’t bother you, go for it!
