Hubstaff is a time tracking solution with all the current trends of bells and whistles. If I was an employer I would get real time screen shots, real time tracking, and detailed reporting. But I am a freelancer (translated: every minute of bona-fide reportable work time means money for me.) That’s where Hubstaff comes in. Believe me, before programs like this, I had to “convince” cheapskate employers that their projects actually did take THAT LONG.

Their railroading into signing up for their 14-day free trial and watching their video pitch was annoying to no end! It looked unprofessional and “almost desperate attempt”. Seriously, it reminded me of the days when I couldn’t block porn pop-ups at work. They need to do something about it and do it real quick.

As a simple Time Tracker, Hubstaff fills the bill. It does what it advertises - after you reload the website as if you are a new visitor. The results are evident. Since it has a free trial, you get to enjoy their services before you spend your money. It is worth trying out any time.
