What was the best part about using HubSpot?
Hubspot is a highly integrated, dynamic suite of inbound marketing tools. It would really be useful to help attract visits, convert leads and increase conversions from my website. I've followed Hubspot for many years and opted into many of their offerings which are all truly professional. I've really learned a lot from the value they provide freely. They are easily the inbound marketing industry leader based on their community, software and the support provided.
It's relatively easy to setup Hubspot on your website. As simple as following directions to embed a bit of code which syncs everything in the Hubspot account manager. Where you can view data from essential components of your online marketing efforts. And take action using their tools to implement inbound marketing. I've read Hubspot is constantly updated and enhanced but I am just utilizing their trial version currently.
I like the set of analytics which includes reports for: emails delivered, email clicks and opens, form submits, social media feedback, landing page views and website visits. Hubspot saves time by enabling efficient, unified processes in marketing and sales campaigns. It's very intuitive to use and not overly technical so setting up campaigns is quick.
The overall Hubspot community is great and I've been an active member for nearly ten years. It's possible to learn so much just by following this company. If you're an inspiring entrepreneur or online marketer this is one company you will learn consistent long term online strategy and insight from by following them.
What would you change about your experience with HubSpot?
Hubspot adapts to the current state of inbound marketing frequently because they are on the leading edge of best practices. In doing so, companies should be prepared to adapt accordingly. This is not a negative. It's a huge positive as they have your company's best interest in mind when they update they dashboard, or alter reporting to suit various search engine algorithms and digital trends.
One recommendation I've read and thought to pass on is smart; don't use their free trial first thing. Learn with the inbound marketing certification and blogs about creating a strategy first. Taking the time do so will ensure you are implementing this plan when you sign up for your trial, in order to receive worthwhile data in the thirty days available, and create the best idea of a return is and whether it's the best fit for you. This is not a negative either, it simply re-iterates their is a learning curve, not so much with the software, but best practices in the field of inbound marketing strategy.
I've not experienced the full on-boarding process but one gentlemen mentioned it was geared more to marketing strategy rather than using their software. If that's so, then the flexibility to tailor an onboarding session is key, and easily adapted as a company practice.
Overall Feedback
Hubspot is awesome. It's a very complete inbound marketing system which is easy to use. They provide outstanding learning materials various sources including an Academy, Certifications and much more. This is the value that goes so much further than mere software. There is a method to the madness and Hubspot want to help you understand how to do inbound marketing, and will teach you freely. And one day when you're ready to pay for their service and it's not cheap, you will understand how to put that value into action using their inbound marketing software which is complete, thorough and easy to use.
It's hard to find fault in Hubspot as a company. They have found a market as thought leader utilizing a genuine inbound strategy and community to promote their brand. Their positioning in the market is amazing considering it is possible to build an inbound marketing campaign using many combined tools such as Wordpress, plugins and other integrations on the cheap. But based on the value and trust in the community and brand which Hubspot is built around they can charge significant recurring prices and justify this value because they are the authority and deserve to be so. Hubspot is a thing of beauty! My highest recommendation.
