Harvest

Harvest is a part of the new trend of Time tracking solutions geared towards simplification and ease of use. I like how they actually cater to “the now crowd” by making this chore a more enjoyable, almost playful experience. It is compatible with iPhones and Apple Watches too. You can save your receipts by simply snapping a picture of it and uploading to Harvest. Harvest can be partnered up with the scheduling product called Hook Forecast for managing your team progress and budget projections.

Harvest is slow and can be annoying at times. Its reporting is somewhat plain vanilla and tweaking/customizing it can be a hassle. And it doesn’t have robust fault tolerance (i.e., if erroneous dates and names are entered, the program starts chasing its tail and eventually hangs). It’s just not what it promises to be.

Harvest is a good Time Tracking solution that can integrate with over 80 popular apps. It is a great choice if you’re bored of the other normally stodgy Time Tracking alternatives. You will enjoy using it and have time tracked accurately. Since it works with many apps, it is easy to start working with it.
