Google Hangouts

Google Hangouts is being used across the whole organization and the greatest advantage is that it takes care of portability and easy access to the telephone system. Google Hangouts are also absolutely free communications tools and it takes only a few moments to install and connect via audio and video. The Google calendar is awesome for scheduling the business meetings and helps us all to be on the same page. More importantly, not only the business community but also users from other fields can also avail these features for the personal objectives.

The biggest competitor was Google Hangouts is obviously 'Skype' and I feel though Google hangouts made its presence in the market much earlier - it is trailing 'Skype' especially in business domains. Also, there seems to be TWO versions of Google Hangouts in place concurrently and am not sure if all the users are absolutely comfortable with one particular version. In addition, it is mandatory that the user has a google account in place before he uses the google hangouts.

I use Google Hangouts more for my personal use and connecting with family and friends. It is an awesome tool and more importantly it is completely FREE! Being a long time user though there are some limitations, I feel it serves my purpose and as the name suggests - it is really a hangout tool providing much needed relaxation at the end of the day or the week. Overall, I would rate the Google Hangouts 9.7 out of 10.
