GoldMine

I mostly use Goldmine for scheduling purposes. It is the easiest thing to link a client to a schedule, change users, change the time, appointment type...etc. I can make my own adaptations to the appointment type as well. From a marketing perspective, it is helping me get familiar with the history and relationship of our customers. Some of whom have been a customer for many many years. Great to be able to go back and see the relationship.

Goldmine looks at different time stamp information than Outlook and thus when receiving meeting invites from from other time zones, the meeting times are not set correctly on your calendar. Goldmine doesn't seem to think it's a problem and will not correct it. Goldmine doesn't play well with others. The email part is not as smooth some things are buggy and irritating but that can be said about all software that we use

Success comes when top management understands the importance of Goldmine, and reinforces its usage. Well defined business processes will help you out. Find a Goldmine Solutions Partner, you will need one. It doesn't so as much as some of the other CRMs, but it's also less costly. Would even recommend it.
