What was the best part about using GoldMine?

GoldMine is a customer relationship management software which differentiates itself by being a voice enabled solution with a call center built in which is cool. And it allows for a comprehensive look at the lifecycle of your customers with real time analytic reports and cross selling features, contact management, marketing automation, customer support and Sales Force integration. It integrates seamlessly with Outlook too. I've read that GoldMine can be integrated with HubSpot as well but I don't see it in the add-ons section so I'm wondering if this is a custom install or not, but if it's easy to do this would be a very powerful feature I would definitely take advantage of. There about a dozen or so integration I see that are available to use with GoldMine such as Constant Contact. I like standard email integration and the email templating feature, which also links to a contact automatically, or multiple contacts such as a supplier and distributor as well for example. So all of your communication is linked directly in the GoldMine CRM. You can use filters to search and segment contacts. The CRM has a nice audit type feature where it logs all of your information in an easy to view history. You can monitor multiple email addresses as well in your account too so this functionality is not limited in this way. The search functionality is good too and makes it quite easy to search your entire database in a number of different ways quickly. I like the voice integration as well which allows you to add a screen pop which can contain relevant details about a topic, skill based routing so you can ensure the call is going to the most qualified rep depending upon the circumstances of the client, whisper coaching and more. The call whispering makes this customer relationship management software good for training sales reps as you can listen into conversations and speak up so that only they can hear you to give them suggestions and insider information to help close the deal. This software integrates well with Constant Contact which makes it quite powerful as an email marketing system. Having the ability to sync leads in your customer relationship management software as they sign up on your web forms makes the whole process much smoother and efficient. The logging of your communication in your CRM makes this a home of your sales point of contact.

What would you change about your experience with GoldMine?

There's a lot of customization possible in GoldMine but it doesn't seem very easy or intuitive to do. I've read that the Microsoft Outlook integration has a bug where it doesn't create the correct time for you in your calendar when you receive event invites from different time zones and that if that was true what minor thing with potentially negative circumstances. I'm not using Outlook for business currently and haven't experienced this myself mind you.

Overall Feedback

GoldMine is a quality CRM that helps you stay organized with your contacts, utilize marketing automation for prospecting and lead generation, facilitates sales with its call center integration and also provide customer support all via one central dashboard. That's a very comprehensive feature set covering the entire lifecycle of your customers which is the strongest reason to consider GoldMine. The company has been around and developing this product for over twenty years so it's very established with a lot of long time users.
