GlobalMeet

One of the things that I like the most on GlobalMeet is that now the recordings from my online meetings are stored online so I can easily access and retrieve them from your control panel. Also I can schedule a meeting for a specific time, or just give out the URL for my online meeting room. This is convenient for those ad hoc online meetings. GlobalMeet automatically uses your webcam and flash for video conferencing.

I really don’t like the fact that GlobalMeet doesn’t integrate with Android. If they want to compete with the top-tier online meeting services, they’ll need to build an Android app. Also it does not allow you to take control of their desktop for support and product demonstration scenarios like other products.

Overall GlobalMeet is a great instrument for business decision makers that want to get meeting attenders involved quickly. We liked the number of HD video features for customers making a presentation, a powerful user interface, and the ability to record meetings for later. The web access for customers is also a great feature.
