GitHub

What I enjoy most about GitHub is that it gives me the freedom to keep track of every alteration made to my project by me and other individuals. Moreover, I enjoy the fact that other people are able to contribute to my projects and I also have the freedom to contribute to their projects as well. This is quite fascinating when you consider other tools out there that don't allow such freedom. I love being able to push directly to GitHub from terminal. I love how GitHub integrates references, issues, git references, mentions, etc in comments. GitHub also allows me to host Jekyll sites at no cost at all while using my own domain name. This tool is my favorite as it has issue tracker that enables me to track deploy milestones.

While there isn't much that I dislike about Github at the moment, I have found it quite difficult to apply continuous integration on the platform, and it has been hard deciphering how to do more complex Jekyll things since they don't saction Jekyll plugins, but I have found these shortcomings to be quite insignificant even to me.

If you're not using GitHub, then you really should be using it unless you are obligated by your employer to use other software. If you have no restrictions of any kind, then you really shouldn't be wasting your time managing your own source control instance as most 3rd party applications are highly supported on GitHub. GitHub makes it stress-free to briefly offer developers access to a codebase and collaborate on it. I would say most people also use it to integrate into continuous integration systems such as CircleCI and it works well with running new tests via GIthub webhooks.
