Hi, thanks for your question into Gensuite, we appreciate your interest. Please see below for a detailed overview of browser requirements necessary for access to our cloud-based software:
• Web Browser-Internet Explorer versions 11 for full compatibility and support within defined service level commitments.
• Full compatibility for future versions of Internet Explorer will be evaluated and communicated on a case by case basis, support for prior versions of Internet Explorer (currently limited to IE Versions 8 to 10) may be discontinued when obsoleted within the user base (e.g. less than 10 percentage of users) or due to incompatibility with newer fully supported versions.
• Compatibility with limitations for functionality and support for Google Chrome and Safari browsers (most recent stable versions) and for Webkit based browsers in modern Mobile devices (Tablets and Smartphones); unless supplemental services for full compatibility and support are subscribed within a Service Proposal for defined scope deployments in non-Internet Explorer browsers and Mobile devices.
• Firefox and other unlisted browsers are not supported.
• PC client with adequate microprocessor speed, RAM and storage disk capacity per generally accepted U.S. Corporate desktop, laptop specifications.
• Network connection speed greater than 384 kbs (Cable, DSL) required for acceptable page load time, assuming optimized network access to the Gensuite server (page load times will be slower for slower connections or sub optimal network configurations).
• Windows 7 OS executable PC client install for optional off-line forms functionality.
• HTML capable email client (Microsoft Outlook), script enabling required for optional native email based functionality
