I like the automatic billing feature which makes it easy for you to take payments on the go and spend more time teaching and less time having to be in the office doing administrative paper work. It's the opposite of why us artists and teachers do what we do so the less paper the better. Yet you are not sacrificing anything to do so, in fact you are more prepared and organized than ever because you have everything you need to do a little bit of admin work at a time while you're mobile. If you have a solo person business it's a great app. But if you have staff it is even more of a time saver because all of your team can use Front Desk to track their clients and schedules and payments too. I like the notification which make sure you are notified of payments and that you can setup automated billing. These two features are huge and simply not possible not so long ago. I like that you can enroll students for classes and update your class list at any time and even do a head count. The whole idea is to keep you doing more important things for your business without having to sacrifice the accuracy of the financials and scheduling at all. I like their workshops you can watch to get going with a complete understanding of how Front Desk can help your business. It's a very mobile platform so you can utilize it from any device basically which you have internet access which is great. So your smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop. Or even your client's if yours is in the car and they have it open and want to do business on the spot. You can login and get it done without any barriers which is outstanding. I also appreciate that you can customize your account so when you have logged on in front of your client for example, you have a very professional back-end to present with your business logo and color theme. It's a minor thing but certainly helps with making a lasting impression in my opinion. You can also setup recurring payments which is the best kind of income. As well as prepaid passes which is a very cool idea. These could be used as gift cards too which is a great idea for someone.

Unfortunately, the only currency available in your account is in USD when I used their trial. That's the only thing I did not like about this software but that's a pretty big issue if you are in Canada or another country. Of course, you can also use a workaround and do the conversion into your currency. I believe the time savings would still be worth it and also that almost all clients would have no issue making a payment in the equivalent of your local currency, but it would still be most professional to have it available. Honestly, this is a deal breaker for me and that makes it really unfortunate because I was thrilled to have discovered this software as a service. It's excellent otherwise.

Overall this is a very useful time tracking and client tracking app which is a dream come true for a lot of small business owners. It eliminates the need for a lot of paper and therefore has a lot of cost savings by doing so. Including printer maintenance and overall providing a much more streamlined way of taking care of business. The ability to set up and sell courses, classes or appointments from a mobile device is a big deal. When you have to work hard to generate leads, and then travel to fulfill the ones that convert into a sale it makes it hard on you because it's so time and energy intensive. So to basically eliminate perhaps over ninety percent of the time it usually took to complete admin stuff, you are actually growing your bottom line directly from the time savings then placed into closing more sales and booking more clients so it's a win-win situation.
