FingerCheck

Fingercheck is a Time Clock solution that uses biometric authentication. Fingercheck has a 30-day free trial version. I like their ability to use fingerprint recognition and facial ID authentication technology. Their mobile apps are available on the Apps Store and Google Play. The variety of “punching in” is impressive. You can call-in, use your Twitter, login through your desktop, send an SMS from your smartphone, or use their Time Clock app.

Fees are unreasonable for a company who has not been in this space as long as the others. To start off, the Subscription Base Fee is $20, the Monthly Per Employee Fee is $2 (the 5 employee minimum requirement = $10), Hosting Fee for their Time Clock app is $10, and each additional Supervisor and Admin is an extra $10. Come on now...if you add all this up you get a minimum bill of $40-$50/month!

It appears to be a well designed Time Clock solution from an innovative and responsive company. But the fact that it is relatively new and the high-pricing structure makes a lot of people (like me) shy away for now. But, it is worth trying if you can afford it; the benefits surpass the high cost.
