Evernote was one of the first apps I downloaded to my iPad when I first had it in my hands. I wanted to have a notebook, that was my first idea. Some place where I could write, copy and paste any kind of information. I have to admit that I something that caught my attention immediately was the design, it was simple but at the same time it gave a sense of being organized. The possibility of having multiple types of files saved and reachable in the same app was also convenient. Because many times we need several apps for several types of documents, music, pdfs and more. Having everything in one place was one feature I was definitively thankful for.

When all the files of a month of work are already in the app you may think it is going to take ages for you to find that one file you are really needing today, but Evernote has a keyword search system that allows to find everything very quickly and this is a very important time saving feature. There are days in which we need to take advantage of every minute available during the day to complete an assignment and it can be very frustrating to spend more than necessary just trying to reach one document in a regular folder system search.

You can also create lists and pending activities so, refrigerator posts are a thing of the past, it is very easy to remember all the chores and tasks you still have not done if everything is organized and structured in the same place. One of the main characteristics a good organization system should have is the ability of showing all your to-dos and upcoming tasks in one display. This way you can plan ahead and prepare for what is coming.
