Eventbrite

It was very easy to sign up for a course and the emails had directions that were very easy to follow to join the course.

There needs to be a phone number or responsive support when a customer has an issue. The Omni1212 Tableau course I signed up for was delayed due to low sign up. I received an email which was fine. After a few weeks of hearing nothing about rescheduling I replied to the email and asked if the course was going to be rescheduled or if I can have a refund. No reply from Omni1212. I tried to request a refund via the Eventbrite site but it was IMPOSSIBLE because the drop down that contains the refund reason would not retain any choice from the list. I spent a long time looking for a phone number for Eventbrite and ended up sending an email. Basically, they said Omni1212 would have to issue the refund and they did NOTHING to help facilitate that happening. I sent Omni1212 and Eventbrite support emails about the refund. Eventbrite has not responded at all. I am ready to dispute this with my credit card company. I signed up for the course in April and it's now August and I still do not have my money back. It appears Eventbrite put the charge on my card so maybe they will be more responsive if they have to go after Omni1212 for the money that I am about to dispute.

Eventbrite has no customer support. Do not sign up for a course on this site because if it gets canceled and the vendor is not responsive then Eventbrite will not do ANYTHING to help.
