Evernote provides you many features which does not limit your notes to just a note you write on piece of paper but it extends its possibility to transform it up to high level. It provides various features like: Offline notes, Pass-code lock, Business card scanning, 200 MB data upload per note, presentation mode, PDF annotation, image recognition, Search in PDFs and Office docs, view Note history, etc. the best thing is image capture in this.

I think it is not worth to spend too much for just making notes, its free version does not support main features and it supports only 3 very basic features. I would rather like to use Google KEEP app for making notes, though it has limited features but its free and the main aim is to just jot down something in your mind so you can have a look at it later.

Evernote is a cross-platform is application for taking notes, organizing it and archiving it over cloud to access it from anywhere at anytime. Apart from keyboard entry of typed notes, Evernote supports image capture from cameras, and voice recording to make notes. Evernote make use of OCR technology to recognize text from the captured image. I always admire any app with OCR technology. All of the features are useful and simple to use and make your life more easy. It does not offer low price structure, it has freemium version but it covers only 3 simple features.
