Duolingo

I found that Duolingo had a good assortment and variety of languages, and that it had some excellent training. One thing I'd like to point out about this software is that it definitely does not leave any loose ends untied. In simpler terms, it's quite well-rounded. As a college student, I would definitely recommend this to any individual serious about learning another language. Such an excellent software gives an alternative to tuition fees at any university institution, while providing the same kind of education content, and definitely has a huge potential market to expand into if it hasn't begun already.

One thing of a few things I'd like to focus on is the slight difficulty in answering questions once getting into higher levels. Understandably, this is of course a software and not a study abroad program, but there are many times where the absence of "street terms" or slang terms makes it a little difficult to fully embrace the language. As a bilingual myself, I noticed that there are many slang terms that do define quite a significant portion of a country's or region's culture. Once again, this is of course a software, and will have its limitations.

Quite an excellent software I'd say. Pricing is alright in my opinion, compared to other software. Although it does have its limitations, I would still fully recommend Duolingo to my classmates who study foreign languages but are on a budget. One recommendation is that the user take little steps at a time, otherwise it's extremely easy to mix up different dialects.
