EMC Documentum Records Management is a powerful tool helping you to organize and store the data while having easy access anytime. As it is based on collaborative components, the software gives rather extensive flexibility. Enabling your team to get access from different locations thanks to the web-based system helps us to communicate more easily with our international projects and gives wider perspective while enhancing daily work and its’ efficiency.

The only issue for our team was the overall navigation and learning experience with the tool. I can’t say it is the most intuitive platform as our team had rather hard time managing and getting a hold on the system’s capabilities due to the learning curve. Moreover, as our daily work consists of graphic design, a software’s interface and its’ design-wise attractiveness catches the eye but with Documentum, I’d say it looks somewhat boring and not so innovative.

Tailored for enhancing your team’s daily work and collaboration between platforms, it can be used for various needs and in different sizes of enterprises. As for us the system didn’t look nor feel very attractive design-wise and has a rather extensive learning curve, it would take some time adapting to the system but all-in-all it is definitely worth a try.
