DoctorMeow

DoctorMeow allows me to get pages directly on my Pebble Smartwatch device. I like how this capability frees me from constantly checking my office’s in-house message boards, straining to make-out the garbled announcements on the PA system, and making those at-least-hourly checks of my personal email accounts. I especially like the variety of options that can alert you with unique color schemes or tones.

DoctorMeow runs on Pebble Smartwatch devices (watch-like mobiles). Pebble devices are relatively new on the market and share the same dismal consumer adoption as the Apple iWatch. Additionally, DoctorMeow runs on the new and rather obscure Pebble firmware (version 2.8). All of these “special” requirements points directly to one thing: an “Apple-like Proprietary Web”. Signal Range is at the mercy of Bluethooth Low Energy limitations (BLE). That is, thick walls and low battery levels severely decrease the device’s effective range and minimum pairing device standard iPhone 4S and above, or Android with BLE or better.

DoctorMeow is an extremely convenient (and cool) way of sending and receiving pages. It has many options for mode and type of alert preferences. Everyone in a DoctorMeow enabled office can discreetly broadcast under the intercom's blaring, annoying, and interrupting radar any message to your target staff quickly and easily. DoctorMeow represents the next generation in office paging systems.
