Digitech Payments

No part of dealing with Digitech payments was pleasant. They are people I would never recommend working with for POS.

I wish I never became their client. I cancelled now and would never recommend anyone have a POS through them. I have switched to Costco and it is a much better service than Digitech Payments from Toronto.

I tried to cancel my service with them 3 years later, and they sent me an early cancellation cc auth form to fill out so they could charge $300. I said I am not cancelling early and they said they automatically renewed my contract without my consent. They told me in order to get out of my contract I have to give 6 months notice prior to the automatic renewal. I said I don't think that is legal. It was only when I contacted Elavon Canada direct did I get anywhere with my cancellation. Elavon told me that Digitech Payments cannot renew my contract without my consent, they told me that I would not have to pay the $300 cancellation fee and they would be dealing with Digitech Payments promptly. I signed up with Costco and they process through Elavon as well and my experience with Costco has been just awesome. Avoid hiring Digitech Payments to be your POS provider!
