Dayforce

There are few "best parts" to using Dayforce. Most reviewers are positive because Dayforce "links with payroll as one complete pay and scheduling suite. However when you look at Dayforce from the operational manager's perspective the view is very very different. This is why I must keep this review anonymous

1. The platform needs to be uploaded every time you use it, so if your network connection is not so fast or having a slow day, your whole company's access to Dayforce will suddenly become the slowest software you have ever used. 2. Holiday requests are absurdly complicated to make on the user end and to understand on the managerial end. If your company is using part time staff, the process is very complicated and too long to describe here, involing a mixture of partial day book offs, and availability changes for other days, all the while not being sure if any of it has been done right 3. The bar graph of daily duties routinely logs off leaving staff with no sense of what they are to be doing, and the graph is difficult to read due to faint lines showing the time brackets.

Be very careful when vetting this software. Almost all reviews I have seen are clearly coming form payroll and not operational managers. Major level functions work, but it is riddled with small to medium problems which do not get addressed.This software eats up loads of company time waiting for it to load, and losing unsaved scheduling, and generally being unsure where staff holidays are falling, and constantly talking to staff about how the system works (because it is so un-intuitive).
