What was the best part about using CRMfusion DemandTools?

It's a modular software suite containing current ten tools which perform maintenance, merging, cleaning and discovery tasks using automation which is the most efficient, productive way to streamline your workflow. While the work this software does itself is massively time saving in the short term and in the big picture which is great. When you have any number of large contacts to deal with it can become cumbersome to manage and keeping your database clean and organize is important. There are instances of duplicate data which can be cleaned up using this tool using automation. As well as help you merge contact data when consolidating contact information automatically. These two items alone are incredibly helpful features that pretty much justify the cost in my opinion. The user interface is quite easy to use and intuitive to learn. There is a decent amount of resources and support to help make things clear but it's not overwhelming in any way. The other tools help with data loading, data backup and manipulation. As well as comparing data which you are about to import to what you have currently in your database prior to doing so. It's great that you can preview all of your changes before you make them so you're able to ensure a close attention to detail. The MassImpact tool helps you make changes and updates according to very specific and multiple search queries which can help cut down on data mistakes and allow you to correct any particular details you need to any size or subset criteria you need to which is cool. The PowerGrid is another good feature which allows you to utilize a spreadsheet like function to make updates using drag and drop technology to your entire contact database at once. You can also use regular copy and paste, direct entries and the filtering capabilities in the tool. You can change or reassign ownership of items to others easily with the Reassign Ownership module. The MassBackup uses Microsoft Access to create backups to your local server and is enabled to be utilized for analytical reporting should you want. You could also utilize integrations with this backup. The Mass Lead Convert module enables you to do just that and to define fields in numerous ways simultaneously. The cleansing module is the strongest of the bunch in my opinion with the ability to find and merge duplicate fields across the entire contact database. And you have a really amount of control doing so as you can use a custom merge and advanced rules in addition to geographic, domain parsing and matching and more as well.

What would you change about your experience with CRMfusion DemandTools?

Why this company would make this exclusive to SalesForce is a good question, in my opinion. And why these tools aren't standard across customer relationship managers is beyond me. Why there is a need for this software in the first place is the real question perhaps. If the core functionality was intelligent enough it could recognize duplicate entries I suppose this company would be out of business. Unless it was able to integrate into other CRM software which I believe it should be able to do. While SalesForce is certainly the leading authority in the market there so many other customer relationship management software available and they would undoubtedly have a large group of new prospects available.

Overall Feedback

DemandTools is a useful suite of customer relationship management tools for SalesForce and overall this suite offers some incredibly useful ways to keep your CRM clean and streamlined for the most efficient and productive work environment for your team. The ability to clean up, dedupe and make mass updates to multiple entries is really useful. The overall flexibility and versatility of these tools are excellent. There is certainly a learning curve in order to become proficient using DemandTools simply because there is a massive amount of configuration possible. And a lot depends on the state of your current database as well. I suppose some organizations would have quite messy contact databases and that need is what drove them to discover this software. Therefore, it will take some learning and some planning to initially clean up the mess but it's nice to have the option in DemandTools.
