The website has almost a unique collection of courses from some of the top professors and colleges in this entire world. These are people you can only dream of learning otherwise. All the courses are also free. I mean can you really beat that! Finally, all courses also come with a certification track where you can get certified from top colleges and professors at a fraction of a fee. The interface is great and well suited to a learning environment.

Well, for one you have to study :-) The lectures are rigorous and deadlines are taken seriously. Hence, if you are the slacker kind, this may not work out for you. Some of the courses also have a track that only starts at a particular period of time. If you are looking for a track at any given time, it may not be available and you have to wait. Finally, while there are great courses on almost all topics, the quality of all courses is not alike. Look and research professors before you enroll.

Coursera is a great website to learn from the top instructors. There is literally nothing that should stop you from hopping on and continuing your lessons. While it is free, the value of the lessons is immense. Hence, don’t take it lightly. You will be able to get a lot out of the lessons. If you are doing well, do get a certificate. It will help you establish credentials in front of future employers.
