What was the best part about using Contactually?

Contractually is a cool customer relationship management software with some unique features in their market. The ability to import contacts automatically from multiple email addresses is great. Along with the bucket feature which enables you to organize contacts into types. The core functionality is very strong in that you can do so much from your account while it's very adaptable as well with several useful integrations such as MailChimp and Zapier. Using Contractually you can keep track of emails, phone calls in detail, SMS texts and contact notes very organized. The ability to learn and track clients social media activity too is a very powerful feature of this CRM. There are lots of pre-made email templates available and the bulk email functionality is quite advanced and you can email directly by bucket right from within your account. There is a nice reminder system in the software too so you can follow up with your best leads. There is a lot of customization possible with your account and this is great for creating your most efficient workflow. The user interface is very easy to learn and intuitive to use. You can create custom stages for your sales pipeline and observe the progress of your prospects through it in the customer lifecycle. Contractually is very accessible on mobile devices including Android and iPhone and integrates well with Gmail which was seamless and Microsoft Outlook as well so that's sweet. The software integrates well with Twitter and LinkedIn social media networks too so that's powerful. I like the LinkedIn possibilities a lot; importing my entire network into Contractually would finally allow me to organize these twenty five hundred contacts and utilize this data in a more powerful way than what is currently available in the LinkedIn basic account. I've read it's possible to automate email follow ups but don't see this functionality integrated into my account back-end. So I suppose this is what the integration with Zapier would be very useful to accomplish as you can configure Zapier to automate several tasks at once in a multitude of ways. The other integrations currently MailChimp, Mad Mimi, Google, BombBomb and Zillow. Contractually is particularly powerful if you're in the Real Estate industry. There are several more integrations besides Zillow like IDX, Realtor.com, Homes.com and more. I really like the ability to send personalized email from your Contractually account. I believe this functionality could be enhanced with an autoresponder capability such as ReplyApp.io. While the software itself requires very little learning it would take some time to go through a lot of contacts which are imported from one or more email accounts and sort them into your buckets.

What would you change about your experience with Contactually?

The pricing is bit above average compared with other CRM's. It would be nice to be able to go from one contact details page to the next in a bucket but it seems you can't. You must go back up to the bucket level first before entering the next contact which seems very redundant use of time. You can't customize contact list columns or re-order them in any way which is limiting. And you can't see more than fifty prospects at once unless I'm mistaken and haven't found this option yet. I've read custom fields are not searchable but I've not had to create these yet so can't confirm it.

Overall Feedback

With a free thirty day trial of the software available without a credit card you have nothing to lose by checking out Contractually. It's very unique in their market as it serves well as a highly customizable CRM software with personalized email marketing capabilities built in. And it's incredibly intuitive to use all features from the buckets, reporting, email marketing, sales pipeline, customer management, contact importing and scraping with cool integrations too. If you've been an avid Gmail or Outlook email user and have a lot of contacts you will be really happy to learn about Contractually. None of the twenty five or CRM's I've researched have this exact functionality. Perhaps a couple come close but Contactually is the most user friendly and most suitable for heavy email users. The pricing may be a bit above average but with the unique feature set for heavy Gmail and Outlook users the ROI possible is massive.
