Why Should You Attend:

Food industry experts in risk management, compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs share the responsibility to ensure that their company complies with state and federal laws. In many cases, the regulatory landscape changes from state to state.

This webinar focuses on key differences in regulatory structure, authority, mission, funding, and history at the state level. The course content is based on interviews with key state and federal stakeholders, many of whom were instrumental in writing and implementation of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).

The instructor brings over 20 years of personal involvement, consultation, academic research, and journalistic experience to the course. Deciphering and historical analysis of legal and political evidence through case studies and current events will allow to dig deep into the judicial forces that drive the concerns in board rooms within the food industry and beyond.
