CMS issued the Reform of Requirements for LTC Facilities: Final Rule in 2016 with some requirements due at that time known as Phase I. Phase 2 is in effect as of Nov. 28, 2017 and Phase 3 comes in 2019. An entirely new survey process also came into being Nov. 28, 2017.

Attend this webinar to understand what are the components and changes happened in the new survey process, survey resources and helpful tips for managing the survey. It will be give an overview of the survey process changes, tips for managing the survey from a former surveyor and now “regulator turned educator.” You will not be dependent upon others to tell you what is happening during a survey plus sometimes the people you ask don’t really know.
