Future Accessibility Summit Dubai

Future Accessibility & Assistive Technology summit 2016 will support the objective of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, and the "My Community - A City for Everyone" initiative that was launched in November 2013, which aims to fully transform Dubai into a disabled-friendly city by 2020, through projects and initiatives aimed to maximize participation and inclusion of every citizens of the city.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, issued Law No. (2) of 2014 to protect the rights of persons with disabilities in the Emirate of Dubai. This law aims to ensure that persons with disabilities enjoy all their rights, enhance their respect, preserve their dignity and protect them from all forms of discrimination or abuse, negligence or exploitation.
