Clastic Reservoir Delineation and Reserve Assessment

The class uses modern analogues, outcrops, and existing fields to examine the depositional elements and processes that control the distribution of reservoir facies within each of the various clastic depositional systems. With this understanding of how and where the reservoir facies are deposited, interpreters can defie the reservoir architecture of a play, prospect, or fild and make relatively accurate estimations of the hydrocarbon resources and reserves contained in those reservoirs.
