API 580/521: Risk Based Inspection

The challenge of maintaining process equipment and applying cost effective inspection strategies can significantly contribute to an organisation’s bottom line. An effective Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Program can contribute towards the management of preventing unscheduled shutdowns and assist in the analysis and planning of inspection activities.
This 3-day workshop will provide and incite in how to implement a RBI Program with reference to API 580/581. Candidates will gain an appreciation of how inspection activities can be developed based on a risk assessment and management process, identify the information required to complete the process, and develop cost effective mitigation plans to manage risks at the equipment level.

•    Understand how to manage risk through inspection activities and how to manage inspection cost with RBI
•    Identify when and how to apply RBI for inspection deferrals and alternative inspection methods
