7th Translation Forum Russia

Translation Forum Russia is one of the most ambitious and reaching events in the language industry. It has been held annually since 2009. This year the city of Astrakhan will host the event. It is the city where cultures, civilizations and eras meet to make it a border between Europe and Asia, the East and the West.

Professionals from all over the world, including freelance and in-house translators and interpreters, producers of CAT tools and other translation-related software, and company managers, get together every year to discuss latest innovations, challenges and solutions. The previous Translation Forum Russia 2015 was held in Moscow, Russia, and gathered under one roof over 400 participants, and such renowned speakers as Doug Lawrence (Export Communications Consultant for UK Trade and Investment), Lucas Beltrami (Attache of the Embassy of Brazil), Rubén Beltrán Guerrero (Mexican Ambassador to Russia), Konstantin Dranch (founder of www.translationrating.ru) and many others.

The general goals of the conference are to strengthen the professional community, to improve collaboration, to share knowledge of new tools and methods, and to promote the best interests of both practitioners and schools of translation and interpreting alike.

We invite you to join us in implementing this important mission. We value the expertise of our participants and appreciate input from the international community, as well as Russian professionals. This year, the conference will focus on the new challenges faced by the industry and new ways to address them.
