The Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery would like to invite you to the next edition of our annual event ‘Eleven Days of Facial Plastic Surgery’, a set of 3 back-to-back courses that will be held from 6th to 16th November 2017. The scientific program for the upcoming courses has been designed to provide structured and methodical training covering a broad breadth of topics in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. These rigorous courses offer an excellent hands-on opportunity for Otolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology and Maxillofacial Surgery Residents, Fellows and Consultants to expand their knowledge and surgical skills in this fascinating area of surgical practice.
The courses offer 7 days of dissection on high quality fresh frozen cadavers in a well-equipped surgical skills laboratory. State of the art surgical instruments, endoscopes, monitors and implants will be made available to the delegates courtesy of our sponsors Storz and DePuy Synthes. Participants in the previous courses have been very appreciative of the ample time available for dissection under close supervision of our learned international and national faculty that allowed them to learn a wide variety of surgical procedures at a relaxed pace.
The teachers of honour for the courses include internationally renowned Facial Plastic Surgeons Prof Shan R. Baker (USA), Prof Edward Ellis (USA) and Mr Ullas Raghavan (UK). The participants will also benefit from the wealth of experience offered by our outstanding multidisciplinary regional and national faculty belonging to the fields of Otolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology and Maxillofacial Surgery.
