There actually are no positive points that I can think of for Compliant Pro ... Other than its predecessor "QSi" was a far better product.

It would require an entire rewrite of the software to change Compliant pro to a product which is user friendly and effective for the organization.

1- Compliant Pro does not posses the capabilities of Office 365. Therefore users of the product tend to attach Office 365 generated documents to Compliant pro (which appears in text format not picture) and use the function of Compliant Pro for approval or rejection. Where this might have been effective a couple of decades ago.... Today .... with SharePoint... its completely unnecessary. Why use MS Office to create documents and attach them to Compliant pro for approval, why not just use the tools Microsoft provides> 2- Attempting to use the software to assign action items for the organizations staff to use for Corrective, improvement or calibration activities is the most convoluted and hateful process anyone could encounter. Users will move through several screens of text based attachments none of which can be navigated using the simple functions of a web page. 3- Documents in Compliant Pro as as easy to find as a needle in an hay stack. Even with categorization the software returns literally pages of documents as possibilities which the user must search to find the correct document. In my several years of using the software, its never returned a search which pointed directly to the document I needed. Its easier just to download all of a document type into Excel and sort them from there.... 4- The software is not easy to manage. It requires the employment of a specialist to setup and maintain the software on a daily basis. The other alternative is to retain an employee of IBS to maintain the organizations software. IBS will tell the organization their software requires no maintenance however this is profoundly untrue 5- Customization? Forget it, IBS will customize the software at a clients request however, they will not guarantee future updates will work from that point foreword. Therefore all organizations adopting this software must manage their organization to meet the design of the software (not the other way round). 6- Employees dislike this software.... its so convoluted, its frustrating to use, causing employees to avoid it instead of embracing it. This in turn causes audit findings with registrars, because employees are observed during audits using a document which is not the "Compliant Pro" version, simply because they can't find he documents they need in Compliant Pro without endless hours of searching.....
