I've used this software extensively for many years and it's been very consistent with it's performance and value. Their free version comes bundled some powerful tools and easily became my choice when I was surveying several different options at the time. It's also super simple to use and the integration with your computer recycling bin makes it even faster to use as you can simply right click on it and open or run it from there. The cleaner itself is set to the most common functions and I've never had a reason to alter these. You can choose between various applications and only clean those as well. The Registry cleaner works well too and even though I've saved a backup each time I've run it over the years there has never been a reason to use these backups. The Tools module includes features most of which I've seen as standalone paid software available otherwise. Including a duplicate file finder, start up program analyzer, system restore tool and drive wiper. The uninstall function in the Tools menu actually shows all of the Windows 10 apps and software programs in one place, so it's more comprehensive in this regard. There are useful setting to utilize as well which allow you to keep certain browser cookies, only delete files older than twenty four hours in your recycle bin and more. The Pro version is a paid upgrade and will enable real time monitoring, clean PC's across all users and provides unlimited support also.

Someone not particularly experienced with the downloading and installing software may be initially thrown off by the fact you have to download it from a third party site. This might seem like a redirect or spoofed site somehow, but FileHippo and the other it provides are completely legitimate. I wish there were descriptions of the advanced features which are not enabled in your option which you can check, or uncheck so one can know their purpose without having to research them externally. I often wondered about these and simply have never taken the risk to clean these aspects of my computer because I don't know the full consequences. I can think of these descriptions being most helpful when your computer is having serious issues and you're troubleshooting. It would be a nice time saver.

I highly recommend this software to anyone looking for a super simple computer cleaner. It goes well beyond your History internet browser function and has advanced other features some of which I understand and others I have not enabled, but there is every reason to trust it's security and capabilities. Considering it's completely free you have nothing to lose. You can use it in conjunction with an antivirus program and your computer will run faster for it guaranteed.
