CATIA is one of the most popular CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) and CAD (Computer Aided Design) software which provides the platform for design, manufacture, and analysis of the new products. This software helps the product development fast and easier with his advanced features. This software is compartmentalized into different workbenches to make the user's work easy and faster. This software includes workbenches like Composite Part Engineering, Composite Part Engineering, and Kinematics section. It is much useful software for commanding modeling program. This software gives an opportunity to the user to create any type of product shape in 3D.The cost of this software is very reasonable as compared to other CAD/CAM software's available in the market.

Catia is good software but not better than other competitive CAD/CAM software. This software is not much powerful CAD/CAM software. Thus, the user interference is not friendly and the user takes much time to get used to this software. There are some bugs during executing actions in the software. The editing for making changes is not automatic and the user has to do it manually each time which consumes lots of time. If someone has to test this software, one can't do so as the free trial version is not available.

Overall, this software is a great alternative to other CAD/CAM software's present in the market. This software has better capabilities and functions that we expect from high-end expensive CAD/CAM software. It provides the user of using an expensive high-end Rendering and modeling software. The customer software of CATIA is very quick and responsive. This software is best for the beginners for making basic models to start a new project. Hence, I recommend this software to all small and mid-scale business.
