The amount of the data on the database, and the multifaceted functionality and metrics available with the plugin is what really makes it great.

Data inaccuracies, but it is inevitable with how much information they are dealing with. The trade-off between thomson and capiq is the research coverage and depending on the situation sometimes one service would have it and the other wouldn't. Sometimes the screening process is not very intuitive and there are some repetitive criteria.

I have heard that Factset is a great tool, and that it may be better than CapIQ. For my use, CapIQ has been more than enough. Go for a trial basis if you are not sure if it is right for you. Don't be afraid to call CIQ or use the chat feature if you have a question. They are extremely helpful.
