Canvas

The best characteristic about Canvas is being able to customize my course to my teaching and to the content it involves. Being able to create and give assessments in the online platform is especially helpful. The automatic grading and immediate feedback are beneficial to both me and my students. I also like that my class content is accessible to students at any time of day from any web connection.

The gradebook. I can only intermittently access it with Firefox, and the company was unable to replicate or resolve this issue. Also quirky for assigning a curve to grades or changing the scale on tests once they have been posted and taken (for example to set a different high score). Setting up tests can also be difficult until you see what specific settings do, and students complain about being confused by the system.

Considering the other platforms available, this one is pretty great. would suggest schools use Canvas, because it gives professors many avenues to share information with you about the course, upcoming lectures, readings, etc. Very easy to learn and use. I have been able to do almost everything that I've wanted to do.
