Canvas

Canvas is an amazing app that innovates corporate life completely. It is very easy-to-use and you don’t need any coding skills. The drag-and-drop function works well – just add all the right gadgets you want and it’s done. Simplicity is really the key here and Canvas has mastered it incredibly! With features like barcode scanning, mobile payments, gps etc – there are not many things you can miss.

Normally, I would say the worst part of this platform is the lack of creative freedom but with the direction they have taken, it makes perfect sense. But there is a much bigger issue. As they say: „the bigger they are, the harder they will fall“, for me Canvas blew it’s beauty with irresponsible and crazy payment plan. So, you pay once a month and can create as many aps as you want – so far, so good – but each plan gets only a certain number of submissions a month (lowest gets 25). Each time you run out of available submissions, you’ll end up being charged for additional ones. Sure, they have more expensive plans that have unlimited submissions per month but let’s be honest – it’s just a way to force people paying for something they really don’t need. For me, this is nonsense and a total set-back in ever trying this software again.

Canvas is good at first try and has all the qualities for a great app. The pricing though is ridicoulous since you would have to pay atleast $363 dollars for a year if you don’t want to pay extra each time you run out of submissions. For us, this is not a worth investment and we would rather find another solution.
