Blue Skies Accounting

I am not very fond of the system overall especially as the interface is simply terrible. It looks like straight from 1990 and it does no good for it. If you like this sort of feel though, basically what it can do, is run payroll and budgeting so in case you don't want to run these things on a notebook or Excel anymore, you could potentially find some use of the tool.

For me, Blue Skies Accounting sounds much better than it really is. The software simply looks very old, even though it is compatible with both Windows 7 and 8. There are many features I don't find any use for - like creating Excel budgets automatically. You could just really get Excel and work the payroll and budgets there.

Blue Skies Accounting might have been a great hit back in the days, but it hasn't adapted to the modern lifestyle. For the price they offer there is definitely not enough for the money. I don't find this software being anything neat, but as they do provide a demo, you can at least check it out yourself and see if it suits your needs and taste.
