Bidding for Good

Bidding for good is a good program for online auctions. We had an online and a live event, and it was fine for online, but not so much for the live event.

There NEEDS to be a way for the customers at a live event to vault their credit cards. This would make the process so much easier. Also, when you search on a bidder, all of the bidders information should come up, exactly what they won, how much they paid for each item and how they paid. This should link directly to their receipt that we can then print and hand them. Everything is in multiple steps, click here do this, then click here and do this. It felt too choppy, having to do multiple steps for everything.

I thought using BFG would have been a much more smoother check out for our auction. It was not. And it is not easy to go back and fix things. I had to call the company several times to undo things that I should have been able to do myself. Also, if your online auction closes before you live auction, make sure you know that your live auction will then be frozen and you cannot make changes to it! This I felt was ridiculous! If my live auction opens on another day, my live auction should be able to add and remove items!
