AVG Internet Security Business Edition

AVG is very easy to use and has a nicely designed interface which won’t take too much for you to completely comprehend. Also, it has automatic installation and the price is very reasonable. The reporting capabilities are decent, function well and on-time, providing you the necessary updates on what’s going on in the security department. Overall, functions decently.

The two main downsides to AVG are firstly it’s extensive time needed for scanning the system and its incapabilities when it comes to using it on Mac. Don’t get me wrong, it works fine on PC (not to mention the lag here), but for Mac, it is just majorly underdeveloped. Now about the scanning – which is the program’s core feature – it takes a LOT of time and it slows your pc down by so much you’d rather go and watch television than actually do something on the computer. Really, scanning is an activity for Sundays when you don’t have to use your pc that much – then it will get done properly.

Not to downgrade AVG’s capabilities, it is best described as the student who got a B on an exam and you are kind a feeling bad for them as they really worked so hard to get that grade but you still know they are not good enough for getting an A. AVG is functioning error-free for the most of the times but as it’s scanning is really a drag and takes forever to finish (while eating your pc’s resources heavily), I can’t say it’s an „A-grade student“ yet.
