The accuracy and versatility of AutoCAD have been the best parts of using it as an architect. AutoCAD makes it extremely easy to create accurate and detailed drawings, exponentially speeding up the design process. It allows you to integrate photorealistic 3D models and represent architectural space in ways that are impossible to do manually. Although its complex interface may frustrate novice users and certain features could be more intuitive, AutoCAD dominates the industry for a reason. Its ability to generate accurate and detailed technical documentation has revolutionized the architectural profession.

If I could change anything about my experience with AutoCAD, I would most likely change its complexity and non-user-oriented interface. AutoCAD's learning curve is quite steep. It has many powerful functions and commands, as well as a fairly complex interface with numerous toolbars, menus, and tool palettes. This can be overwhelming and frustrating for new users with no prior CAD experience. I would like it to be more intuitive and accessible.
