Asana has various capabilities and its updates them once in a while so that it could increase its customer base. It allows us to collaborate with others without much effort in sharing the projects or tracking them or updating them about the projects. Delaying is the most outrageous issue with asana since it's from the most recognised team of facebook but it lacks the speed in loading the platform, assigning the tasks, duplicating them and attaching the files. It's been years but there isn't any update in speeding up their process so its seems their system isn't going to make any update to the speed.

Asana offers free usage till 5 projects per user so whether you're a startup or a small firm with lesser than 5 projects can utilise asana. However by using it on a trial purpose you can get to know about it and you can decide on it. It's slow process and theme may not interest you so prepare for it too.
