Articulate Studio

For most, it’s easy to begin using this program immediately because it’s based on the Powerpoint application, accompanying conventions, and somewhat proprietary paradigm. Note: I am NOT a Powerpoint fan. However, I was forced during my military career to become proficient in Powerpoint. It was the only authorized method to present my department’s briefing via conference chat/video to my Big-Wig superiors - translated: Admiral or General Grade Officers.

Downloadng their 30-day free trial version requires ID information and an email address. I‘ve said this many times before: This requirement always makes me want to throw down the red “B.S. Flag”; especially when other companies provide their demonstration videos hassle-free; no need to play this “email-tag game”. Other annoyances include no option to incorporate character cut-outs/animation archetypes.

Playing with Studio, I wish it was available back in my cross-eyed, Powerpoint nightmare days; mainly because Articulate Studio is ultra-simple and quick. In short: Articulate Studio provides me an easier than before way to create professional, eye-catching, and “not-soon-to-dumped from short term memory” presentations, e-learning courses, and “official” briefings to my (and your) company’s big shots.
